How to advertise your static caravan privately

If you are looking for somewhere to advertise your static caravan, start by checking whether your holiday park permits private letting. The park agreement may include rules about guest registration, safety checks, insurance and who can use on-site facilities.

Prepare a caravan advert guests can understand

Describe the caravan accurately: the holiday park and location, number of bedrooms, maximum guests, pet policy, photographs and any relevant access information. Explain what is included in a stay and what guests need to arrange separately, such as park entertainment passes. Avoid advertising facilities or prices that have not been confirmed.

Keep availability and enquiries organised

Maintain your calendar when you accept bookings, including bookings made through other channels. On UK Static Holidays, eligible published caravans can receive guest enquiries; an enquiry is not an automatic confirmed reservation. Owners can use their workspace to record bookings and keep payment records without accepting guest payments through this website.

Get your caravan ready for publication

Create an owner account, add your caravan, upload suitable photographs and complete the required verification steps. A listing must be approved before it appears in public guest searches. You can save your setup and return to it later.

Where should I advertise my caravan for holiday lets?

Choose channels that reach people looking for holidays in your park or area. An owner marketplace can give guests a consistent place to read your advert; your own website and social groups can help people return to it. Compare the cost, listing rules, enquiry process and time needed to keep each channel current. This service advertises holiday accommodation, rather than caravans for sale.

Use the same accurate sleeping capacity, pet policy and inclusions wherever you advertise. Update your availability when a stay is agreed through any channel, and agree who replies to enquiries if more than one person manages the caravan. A calendar entry alone does not establish that a guest has accepted your booking terms.

You can register and advertise free during our current launch period, subject to listing checks and approval. Free launch access is not a promise of permanent free advertising or a guaranteed number of enquiries.

Static caravan booking management

Use your owner workspace to organise availability, prices, guest enquiries and recorded bookings and payments. Before choosing booking software, decide whether you need enquiry handling, a record of bookings made elsewhere, or automatic payment collection. Online guest payments and Instant Book are not currently enabled here. Do not rely on an automatic cross-site calendar sync unless it is explicitly available and configured in your account.

A practical private letting handover checklist

1. Confirm your park permits the proposed stay and that your insurance and required checks cover your letting arrangements.
2. Agree the dates, party size, total price, included items, park passes and cancellation terms with the guest.
3. Record the booking and payments received, then update availability wherever you advertise.
4. Send agreed arrival information securely and arrange cleaning and a check of the caravan before the next guest.

Questions about renting out your static caravan

Can I advertise my caravan if I already take bookings elsewhere?

Yes. You can use UK Static Holidays alongside your existing advertising. Keep availability accurate across the places where you advertise to reduce the risk of overlapping enquiries or bookings.

Do I need permission from my holiday park?

Check your pitch agreement and park letting rules before advertising. Rules about private letting, guests, insurance and site facilities vary by park. We may request evidence that you own the caravan or are authorised to advertise it.

Are guest payments and automatic bookings available?

Guest enquiries are available for eligible published listings. Online guest payments and Instant Book are not currently enabled. You can manage recorded bookings and payments in your owner workspace.

How much does advertising cost?

Registration and advertising are free during the current launch period. Any later paid subscription would be subject to the applicable offer and terms presented for your agreement. Existing accepted rights are not replaced by this page.
